The AUDAC CALI660 is a premium 6.5-inch 2-way coaxial ceiling speaker designed for professional commercial audio installations where clear sound, wide coverage and discreet architectural integration are essential.

Featuring a 6.5” cone driver combined with a coaxially mounted 1” soft-dome tweeter, the CALI660 delivers clear speech, detailed music reproduction and excellent off-axis performance with a 120° conical coverage pattern. This wide dispersion makes it ideal for achieving consistent sound throughout meeting rooms, offices, restaurants, retail spaces, hospitality venues and other commercial environments.

AUDAC’s innovative SafeLatch™ mounting system simplifies installation, while the TwistFix™ borderless grillprovides a clean, modern appearance with secure long-term mounting. Product Description

The AUDAC CALI660 combines premium sound reproduction, installation efficiency and modern architectural design in one professional ceiling loudspeaker.

Its 2-way coaxial design delivers balanced sound across a frequency response of 90 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB), while the specially engineered tweeter and phase plug provide excellent off-axis performance. With an average 120° conical coverage, fewer speakers may be required to achieve even audio coverage across suitable spaces.

The loudspeaker provides 60W AES continuous power handling, 120W program power and 240W peak power, making it suitable for applications requiring more output than conventional background-music ceiling speakers.

For distributed commercial audio systems, an integrated 70V/100V multi-tapping transformer allows installers to select the appropriate power setting for the project. An 8 Ohm bypass provides additional flexibility for low-impedance installations.

Installation is simplified by AUDAC's SafeLatch™ mounting technology and pluggable terminal block connection with link-through functionality. The shallow 132 mm built-in depth makes the speaker suitable for installations where ceiling space is limited.

The TwistFix™ grill system uses a twist-lock mechanism instead of a conventional grill attachment, creating a secure fit while maintaining an elegant borderless appearance.

For the latest CALI660II, AUDAC has further enhanced durability with a weatherproof and humidity-resistant coating on the speaker cone. The CALI660II carries an IP56 rating, and for long-term outdoor exposure it can be combined with the appropriate optional GLI grill.
