The AUDAC ARES5A is engineered to provide excellent speech intelligibility and high-quality music reproduction from a compact enclosure.

Its 2-way design incorporates a 5¼-inch polypropylene woofer and 13 mm PEI high-frequency tweeter, delivering a frequency response of 80 Hz – 20 kHz and a maximum sound pressure level of up to 105 dB.

Integrated DSP processing optimizes the performance of the loudspeakers, producing a clean and balanced listening experience suitable for both background music and speech applications.

Built-In 2 x 40W Stereo Amplifier

The active ARES5A speaker incorporates its own stereo amplifier, delivering 2 x 40W program power to drive both the active and passive speakers.

This integrated design reduces the number of external components required and makes installation faster, cleaner and more cost-effective.

Simply connect your audio source to the active speaker and link the supplied passive speaker to create a complete stereo audio system.

AUDAC WP2xx Remote Wall Panel Integration

An RJ45 remote input connection enables the ARES5A to integrate with compatible AUDAC WP2xx Series wall panels.

This provides a convenient wall-mounted interface for users to select inputs, connect local audio sources and adjust volume without accessing the speaker itself.

Depending on the WP2xx solution used, a single wall panel can control and distribute inputs to up to four ARES5A sets – a total of eight speakers.

Flexible Wall, Corner & Ceiling Installation

The supplied recessed mounting bracket is designed to blend into the speaker enclosure, providing a clean and professional appearance.

The ARES5A can be installed vertically or horizontally with an inclination of up to 45°, allowing the speaker to be directed towards the required listening area.

Its bracket geometry also supports installation in corners and selected ceiling applications.

For installations requiring greater positioning flexibility, the optional AUDAC MBK455 angled mounting bracketallows up to an additional 90° inclination.

An M6 safety attachment is provided for additional installation security.
