The AUDAC ALTI4 is a premium 2-way 4-inch pendant speaker designed to deliver clear, evenly distributed sound in commercial spaces with high or open ceilings. Its coaxial driver combines a 4-inch woofer with a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter, providing balanced background music and excellent speech clarity.

Product Description

The AUDAC ALTI4 2-Way Pendant Speaker combines elegant architectural design, premium sound reproduction and installer-friendly features in one compact hanging loudspeaker.

Its coaxial design features a 4-inch driver and a centrally mounted 1-inch soft-dome tweeter with a phase plug. This arrangement produces consistent sound dispersion and excellent off-axis performance, helping music and announcements remain clear throughout the listening area. Its wide 165° conical coverage makes it especially suitable for large open spaces and venues with high ceilings.

The ALTI4 delivers 30W continuous power, 60W program power and 120W peak power. A rotary selector located behind the rear cover provides selectable 70V/100V transformer settings and a 16Ω bypass, allowing the speaker to work with both distributed commercial audio amplifiers and conventional low-impedance systems.

Installation is made faster and safer with the included 3.5-metre suspension cable. The cable combines the speaker connection, dual steel suspension cores and safety support inside a single outer jacket. Dual snap hooks and the Dual Gripple™ locking system provide secure height adjustment and mounting.

AUDAC’s SlideCap™ rear cover conceals the terminal connection and suspension hardware, creating a clean and professional finish. Available in black or white, the ALTI4 blends naturally into modern restaurants, showrooms, retail outlets and corporate interiors.

Conventional wall-mounted or ceiling speakers may struggle to provide consistent coverage in venues with tall or exposed ceilings. The ALTI4 can be suspended closer to the listening area, while its wide 165° dispersion distributes sound evenly across the space.

Poor Speech Clarity Away from the Speaker

The coaxial driver and phase-plug design improve off-axis performance. This allows announcements and spoken content to remain clear even when listeners are not standing directly underneath the speaker.

Different Amplifier and Wiring Requirements
