Radial Engineering StageBug SB-15 Signal Buffer & 9V to 15V Power Converter for Pedalboards, Guitar Effects & Professional Audio Systems
Product Introduction
The Radial Engineering StageBug SB-15 is a premium Class-A signal buffer and power conversion solution designed for guitarists, bassists, pedalboard enthusiasts, and professional musicians who demand uncompromised tone quality. Featuring a 100% discrete Class-A FET buffer circuit and Radial's unique Drag™ Control technology, the SB-15 preserves the natural character of your instrument while eliminating signal degradation caused by long cable runs and multiple effect pedals.
In addition to serving as a high-performance signal buffer, the SB-15 also functions as a 9V to 15V DC converter, allowing musicians to power compatible Radial and Tonebone pedals directly from standard pedalboard power supplies. Compact, rugged, and pedalboard-friendly, the StageBug SB-15 is an essential tool for maintaining pristine tone and reliable pedalboard performance.
Product Description
As pedalboards become larger and more complex, signal loss, tone degradation, and unwanted noise can significantly affect overall sound quality. The StageBug SB-15 solves these common problems by buffering the instrument signal at the beginning of the signal chain, ensuring maximum clarity and consistency throughout the entire pedalboard.
Unlike conventional buffers that rely on integrated circuits (ICs), the SB-15 utilizes a 100% discrete Class-A FET design that delivers a warmer, more natural response with minimal phase distortion. The built-in Drag™ Control circuit allows players to fine-tune the input load, recreating the feel and tonal response of plugging directly into an amplifier.
Once buffered, the signal becomes more resistant to hum, buzz, radio frequency interference (RFI), and electromagnetic interference (EMI), enabling pedal chains and cable runs up to 15 meters (50 feet) without sacrificing audio quality.
As an added bonus, the SB-15 can combine two standard 9V power outputs and convert them into a regulated 15VDC output, making it easy to power Radial Tonebone pedals and other compatible 15V devices from your existing pedalboard power supply.
